Logistics Company Owner and Sole Provider of Family Arrested for His Faith

A resident of Changsha City, Hunan Province was arrested at his home around 9:00 p.m. on May 30, 2021 for his faith in Falun Gong.

Mr. Dai Xuebing, a 49-year-old native of Yuanjiang City, Hunan Province, runs a logistics company in Changsha. He is the supplier of a major construction company and his detention causes tremendous disruption to the operation of his business.

Dai is also the sole provider for his family. With a 4.5-year-old son, an ill wife, and elderly parents in their 80s all relying on him, his arrest left his entire family in deep despair.

The police began to follow and harass Dai in January 2021, after tapping his phone when he talked on the phone with a Falun Gong practitioner seeking a job in Changsha. Dai tried to clarify the facts about Falun Gong to the police, but they refused to listen.

Following Dai’s arrest on May 30, the police revealed to his wife that they had recorded footage of him distributing Falun Gong materials. Other practitioners who had been distributing materials with him were also arrested and would be sentenced to prison.
