Exclusive Interview With Falun Gong Founder Broadcasted on New Tang Dynasty Television

NEW YORK (FDI) – An exclusive interview with Mr. Li Hongzhi, founder of Falun Gong, aired January 20 on New Tang Dynasty TV (NTDTV). This is the first time that the founder of Falun Gong has accepted a media interview since the summer of 1999.

The interview was aired over NTDTV’s satellite broadcast and carried by a number of select cable outlets. The interview was re-broadcasted on January 21.

New Tang Dynasty Television is a non-profit Chinese language television station based in New York City. NTDTV began broadcasting in North America in February 2002. In July 2003, NTDTV began broadcasting through satellite, providing Chinese language programming 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

In the Columbus International Film Festival, NTDTV won two awards for its films, “False Fire” and “The Legend of Ye Lili.”
