2003 New York Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference Held at SUNY Purchase

NEW”>NEW YORK (FDI) — Attended by approximately 2,000, the 2003 New York Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference took place on April 19th and 20th at the Performing Arts Center at the State University of New York campus in Purchase, New York.

On the afternoon of the 20th, Falun Dafa founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi, arrived to a standing ovation from conference attendees. Mr. Li lectured on the Falun Dafa teachings and answered questions from the audience for several hours.

Conference attendees, who included travelers from across the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia, shared their experiences about the Falun Dafa practice. They also discussed various volunteer efforts to expose human rights abuses in China and end the four-year persecution of Falun Gong.

The conference received numerous letters of congratulations from officials from the state of New York and New York City, as well as U.S. Congresspersons.

Falun Dafa experience sharing conferences are held periodically around the world, and are organized by volunteers and always free of charge. Mr. Li Hongzhi occasionally attends to answer practitioners’ questions about the practice.
